The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service is organizing a business mission to Central and Eastern Europe for Canadian ICT companies.

When and Where

The mission will take place in November 2016, the week following the Web Summit taking place in Lisbon, Portugal. The tentative itinerary is as follows:

  • November 11: Prague, Czech Republic
  • November 12-13: Private weekend
  • November 14: Brno, Czech Republic

In each country, the respective Trade Commissioners will organise programs that will
include elements such as:

  • B2B sessions where Canadian companies will give short presentations and meet one-on one with interested local companies and organizations, including end-users of technologies.
  • Presentations by local experts on the ICT landscape in the respective markets and by representatives of Canadian ICT companies already active in those markets.
  • Time allowing, outcalls and visits to local companies and incubators. The mission will be organized in cooperation with partners in the Provinces and associations.
